The Great Conjunction!   Jupiter & Saturn perfectly align in Aquarius!

Hi, it’s Keiko.

On December 18th the lucky planet Jupiter left Capricorn and entered Aquarius!

The day before Saturn also entered Aquarius, so now that both planets have left Capricorn, the Capricorn Triple Great Conjunction Period has come to an end, and the Jupiter in Aquarius Period has officially begun!

And the biggest news of all is that on December 21st the Aquarius Great Conjunction will occur, marking the glorious start of the Air Era!

When Jupiter and Saturn perfectly overlap in a conjunction in the zero degree of Aquarius at 1:21pm EST on December 21st it will mark the start of the more than 200 year long Air Era.

I have talked about Jupiter, Saturn and the Great Conjunction many times on my blog and on Instagram, but let’s take a moment to review each of them.

What is a Great Conjunction?

Once every 20 years or so, Jupiter and Saturn align in what is known as a Great Conjunction.

Since the Capricorn Great Conjunction Period started in December 2019 Jupiter and Saturn have both been in Capricorn, but what makes December 21st 2020 so special is that Jupiter and Saturn will be so close that there is a zero degree difference in their positions, and there will be a precise conjunction.

Up until now, for the last approximately 250 years all Great Conjunctions have taken place in earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) but today’s Great Conjunction is taking place in an air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) so December 21st marks a turning point in time!

Furthermore, the two planets are overlapping in the zero degree of Aquarius which signifies ‘shattering the status quo’ and ‘revolutions,’ so this moment is truly a historical paradigm shift.

What type of planet is Jupiter?

Jupiter takes one year to move from one sign to the next, and it’s a planet that creates various world trends.

It is known by the nicknames ‘Santa Claus of the Sky’ and ‘the Lucky Planet of the Universe’ because of its ability to expand fortune, development, and success, and bring about unexpected good fortune.

Jupiter’s fields of expertise include relationships, talents, skills, connections, work, romance, and everything in between.

It is also the ruler of Sagittarius, which signifies new worlds and big scales, so the keys to attracting Jupiter’s power are to have an open mind, to be optimistic, to have a generous heart, and to not be too concerned with details.

What kind of planet is Saturn?

Saturn stays in each sign for approximately two and a half years, and it’s a planet that brings stability, continuity, and realization.  It’s also a planet that shows us karma, challenges, and how to get rid of unnecessary things.

It’s especially important to note that Saturn plays a role in creating the foundation of nations and societies.  In addition, Saturn is often involved in turning points in our lives.

Some people feel uncomfortable with Saturn because it indicates trials and karma, but the truth is, even if we receive benefits from the energy of other planets, without the power of Saturn, it’s difficult to establish and maintain these benefits.

In other words, Saturn’s role is to establish and continue the good fortune that Jupiter has greatly expanded and developed.  So when you think about it this way, you can see that Jupiter and Saturn are both very important planets, don’t you think?

If you look up in the western sky shortly after sunset between December 21st and December 25th, you will see Jupiter and Saturn side by side in the night sky, very low on the horizon, for about an hour.   Be sure to have a look at these two great planets and witness this once in a lifetime event!
