Aries New Moon in 2020

Happy Astrological New Year! As some of you may know, March 19th (or 20th, depending on your time zone) was the Astrological New Year, which is when the Sun enters Aries, the first of the twelve zodiac signs. I’m noticing this word is becoming increasingly mainstream these days —I hear more and more people around me talking about it.

So how was the last New Moon in Pisces (February 23rd) and Full Moon in Virgo (March 9th) for you? The whole month was about purification to prepare for the Astrological New Year, so if you’ve already finished decluttering your home and clearing out negative emotions—great!

And now, we have the first New Moon of the Astrological New Year. The Universe welcomes the New Moon in Aries on March 24th at 5:28am EDT. Both the Sun and the Moon will be in Aries, the leadoff hitter of the twelve zodiac signs. Needless to say, this is an important day where we turn on the engine for 2020. Furthermore, with none of the ten celestial bodies in retrograde, the Universe is in acceleration mode. It would be a day to ask yourself: What do you want to accomplish in 2020?

Also of special note is that on March 22nd, Saturn, the giant planet responsible for paradigm shifts, entered Aquarius. Although Saturn will return to Capricorn in July, there’s no doubt that its visit will activate the progressive energy of Aquarius! It may bring a spark of ideas for resolving situations that have been stagnating for a while. At any rate, it’s clear that the energy of Saturn in Aquarius will give the propelling force of the Aries New Moon a huge boost.

Specifically, this New Moon can help you…

  • Start something new

  • Leave a company in order to start your own business or to become independent

  • Overcome setbacks

  • Go forth in your chosen path with courage

  • Live an authentic life

  • Trust your intuition and live by it

  • Get the results you want in sports and exercise

I wish you all a wonderful time welcoming the first official New Moon of 2020.
